Senior Quantity Surveyor

I’m urgently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a  developer specialising in high-quality residential apartment schemes.

This is a freelance role for an 8 week period, working on a premium residential development. The client requires someone who can start immediately and quickly integrate into the site team.

You will be office-based with the occasional site visit , reporting into the Commercial Manager, and supporting the commercial delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing subcontractor packages from procurement through to final account
• Preparing and assessing valuations and variations
• Supporting cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
• Assisting with monthly commercial reporting
• Working closely with site and project teams to ensure commercial performance
• Maintaining cost control across residential packages

Requirements:

• Strong Senior Quantity Surveyor experience within residential developments (ideally) 
• Proven background as a Senior QS
• Confident managing subcontractor packages independently
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness
• Able to work on-site full time and start immediately
• Available for the full 8-week duration
