I am looking to speak with Senior Quantity Surveyors or candidates ready to step up to this level to work with my client near Loughton, Essex.It''s a genuine, positive career move in that the successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress up the career ladder based on performance in the role; my client is looking for candidates who may eventually become Commercial Director for the business.Responsibilities

Manage packages in the commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors for a reinforced concrete structures contractor.Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts (essential).Some estimating experience is required/useful as you may be required to work on tendering from time to time.Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders; present a positive, professional front of house.Contribute to a smaller but successful contractor where long-term relationships are a key factor in ongoing success.Qualifications and Requirements

Current experience with a reinforced concrete structures contractor.Proven ability to manage packages in commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors.Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts.Estimating experience is desirable.Salary and Location

The salary and package are open to negotiation, with a base salary expected to be between 85-105k. The role is based in Essex with options for local work or travel; the nearest tube station is Zone 6 on the Central Line.Apply
