Senior Quantity Surveyor - Data Centres

Vertical Recruitment is working with an established multidisciplinary construction consultancy to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to its specialist Data Centre team. The role will support the delivery of data centre developments across the EMEA region, with involvement throughout both pre-construction and construction. Working alongside an experienced team of Quantity Surveyors and project professionals, you''ll be involved in the commercial management of technically complex developments, supporting projects from early cost planning and procurement through to construction and completion. Based from the consultancy''s London office, the position offers international project exposure, a collaborative working environment and clear opportunities for professional development. The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll provide cost management and commercial support across a portfolio of data centre projects, working closely with clients, project teams and contractors throughout the development and construction lifecycle. Responsibilities will include: Preparing and managing cost plans, estimates and project budgets throughout pre-construction. Supporting procurement strategies, tender documentation, tender analysis and contractor appointments. Providing commercial advice throughout design development, including value engineering and cost optimisation. Managing project cost reporting, cash flow forecasts and commercial risk.
