Senior Quantity Surveyor

One of the UK’s leading Property and Infrastructure Consultancies is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major Power & Energy sector projects across London.
My client is one of the most respected consultancies in the UK, with a strong network of offices both nationwide and overseas. They have built an outstanding reputation in the market and are currently involved in some of London’s most high-profile power and energy developments.
These projects include energy infrastructure, substations, renewable energy schemes, grid upgrades, and major capital delivery programmes for both public and private sector clients.

THE POSITIONThis role is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will take full responsibility for the commercial management of multiple Power & Energy sector projects from pre-contract through to completion and final account.
The successful candidate will lead on key commercial activities including cost planning, procurement strategy, contract administration, risk management, and financial reporting. You will manage client relationships, provide commercial leadership across projects, and support junior team members where required.
At this level, you will also play a key role in business development, supporting client engagement and helping to grow the firm’s presence within the Power & Energy sector in London.
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will:
Hold a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field and be Chartered (MRICS or equivalent) or working towards Chartership
Have experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level within a consultancy or contractor environment
Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering infrastructure or energy-related projects
Be confident managing projects from pre-contract through to final account
Possess strong commercial acumen, leadership, and client-facing skills
