Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier One Main Contractor
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

We are working with a leading Tier One Main Contractor who are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the commercial lead on a flagship new build education project in Cambridge, valued up to £40m.

The company has a strong reputation across multiple sectors including Education, Healthcare and Residential, delivering high-quality, complex projects across the UK. The Role:

• Lead all commercial aspects of a £40m new build education project

• Manage procurement, contracts, cost reporting and forecasting

• Work closely with the Project Director and wider commercial team

• Ensure best value and commercial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle

• Mentor and support junior members of the team

About You:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment

• Track record of leading projects of significant value (£20m+)

• Strong knowledge of JCT/NEC contracts

• Excellent communication, negotiation and leadership skills

• Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or a related field
