Senior Quantity Surveyor

A growing consultancy specialising in high-end residential developments is currently seeking a confident Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London team. Known for delivering luxury schemes across prime London postcodes, the business offers the opportunity to work on prestigious projects from -5m to -30m in value.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of projects, manage commercial teams, and work closely with site and design teams in a dynamic and quality-focused environment. The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor will have a strong background in main contracting, with experience delivering high-spec residential or mixed-use schemes in London.

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in delivering projects from pre-construction through to final account, with significant input into procurement, cost reporting, and subcontractor management. This is a long-term opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor seeking a hands-on role within a growing consultancy that values initiative and commercial acumen.

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities

• Take commercial lead on high-end residential construction projects
• Manage procurement, tendering, and contract negotiation
• Produce accurate monthly valuations and cost reports
• Handle change control, variations, and final accounts
• Work closely with project managers and site teams.
• Monitor project budgets and provide financial advice to support delivery

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements

• 6+ years'' experience in a main contractor QS role
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS Qualified
• Ideally Pre and Post contract experience
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and reporting skills
• Experience on high-end residential projects in London preferred
