Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are working with a market leading contractor who specialise in cut and carve, refurbishment, new build and prime fit out sectors. The company has been around 20 years with a turnover of -150m+. Typical projects range from -3m10m with the largest projects reaching -80m.

About the role:

The company is seeking a senior quantity surveyor to join their team. The successful candidate will initially be responsible for overseeing a 3 phased refurbishment project in central London, eventually moving on to a larger project later in the year. If you have experience leading multiple projects with varied values and complexities, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibilities for all financial procedures
• Appoint and manage subcontractors and provide feedback on completion of works
• Attend and if necessary, chair meetings with design teams and subcontractors
• Prepare monthly CVRs and create regular budget and price updates
• Internally reporting into management, keeping them fully informed of issues and potential risks to the business

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Proven experience of fit out, new build or refurbishment works
• Previous experience of successfully leading large commercial projects and its delivery within time and budget constraints to a high quality
• CSCS card holder
