Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking consultancy delivering high-impact projects across the housing sector. You’ll play a key role in driving commercial excellence — supporting a variety of projects including planned refurbishment, decarbonisation, retrofit, energy-saving measures, M&E replacements and high-rise building works.

What you’ll be doing: Providing expert commercial advice and support across multiple complex projects; leading on cost control, budgets, valuations, applications for payment and contract compliance; advising on design changes, risk management and change control processes; preparing and presenting monthly commercial and performance reports; supporting tender preparation, contract negotiations and dispute resolution; mentoring and developing Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs within the team.

What we’re looking for: Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management; 5 years’ experience as an SQS (ideally in the social housing sector); strong commercial and design management knowledge; background in social housing maintenance contracts is essential; confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable experience includes reactive/planned maintenance, decarbonisation/retrofit projects, and knowledge of NEC/JCT/TAC contracts.
