Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor – Sports Stadium – Galway

We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor with bases across Ireland who have seen success across a number of projects. Due to continued success, there is currently now the need for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a Stadium build.

Responsibilities

·Commercial Management: Lead all cost control and commercial management functions across the stadium project, ensuring budget adherence and maximising value.

·Contract Administration: Manage subcontractor procurement, preparation of contract documentation, negotiation, and administration in line with main contract obligations.

·Cost Reporting: Oversee preparation of monthly valuations, cost forecasts, and financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

·Change & Risk Management: Assess, value, and agree variations and claims; proactively identify and mitigate commercial risks.

·Team Leadership & Collaboration: Provide guidance to junior QS staff, coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams, and act as key liaison with the client’s representatives.

Requirements

Must have 8+ years’ experience in a similar role working for a main contractor

Must be based in or within a commutable distance of Galway

Must have excellent communication skills (Both written and oral)

€90,000 - €110,000 + Package
