Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of quantity surveying on highways projects
• Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Performing risk and value management and cost control
• Advising on procurement strategy
• Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Providing detailed progress reports and financial reporting
• Ensuring projects adhere to legal and quality standards
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Experience in quantity surveying within the highways sector
• Strong knowledge of NEC (New Engineering Contract)
• Proficiency in cost management and project cost control
• Keen analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field
• Experience in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects
