Red Sky Personnel are working with a well-established infrastructure contractor delivering projects across the rail, civil engineering and energy sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor who is progressing towards Senior Quantity Surveyor level to join their commercial team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £10k up to £20m, covering rail infrastructure, OLE, permanent way, civil engineering and energy works.

The Role

You will support the commercial management of multiple infrastructure projects while working closely with the wider commercial and operational teams. The position will be primarily office-based in Irlam, with occasional site visits depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Producing CVR reports and cost reporting
• Cost control and commercial management across projects
• Preparing and submitting Applications for Payment
• Cash management and cost forecasting
• Change management and management of variations
• Providing tendering support
• Supporting subcontract management
• Working closely with operational teams to support programme management

Projects

• Project values ranging from £10k – £20m
• Works across Permanent Way (P-Way), OLE, Civil Engineering and Energy infrastructure
• Delivered under NEC3, NEC4, framework and bespoke client contracts
