A leading Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a prestigious project in the Highlands.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in one of Scotland''s most significant public-sector construction projects while joining a well-established contractor with a strong regional presence and an enviable pipeline of work.

Working as part of an experienced commercial and project team, you will take responsibility for the financial management of designated work packages, ensuring effective cost control and commercial performance throughout both the pre-construction and delivery phases.

Responsibilities:
- Managing project costs, valuations, forecasts and financial reporting.
- Preparing and reviewing cost plans, estimates and reconciliations.
- Measuring works from drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Supporting pre-construction commercial activities, including cost planning, procurement strategy and package development.
- Assisting with procurement activities, including subcontract enquiries, tender assessments and package awards.
- Administering subcontract accounts and managing variations.
- Producing commercial reports.
- Working closely with operational teams to maximise commercial performance.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Requirements:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Previous experience working within a main contractor environment.
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
- Experience within public-sector or major building projects would be advantageous.
