Senior Quantity Surveyor

An established civil engineering contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure schemes across Scotland is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.This is a business built on long-term relationships, repeat work, and consistent project delivery across infrastructure, energy, and ground engineering sectors.You ll take ownership of commercially significant packages and play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.What You ll Be Doing Commercial management of infrastructure projects from start to finishPreparing and managing valuations, variations, and cost reportsMonitoring project financial performance and forecastingManaging subcontractor accounts and procurementAdministering NEC contracts and managing change eventsWorking closely with operational teams to drive commercial performanceSupporting accurate and timely reporting to senior management What They re Looking For Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS in civil engineeringStrong working knowledge of NEC contractsBackground in infrastructure, earthworks, utilities, or similar sectorsConfident managing commercial responsibilities independentlyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsDegree qualified or equivalent experienceProfessional accreditation (RICS or working towards) desirable What s on Offer Secure pipeline of long-term infrastructure workSupportive, down-to-earth working ..... full job details .....
