Working within a growing Energy & Transmission environment, you''ll play a key role in supporting the commercial delivery of significant infrastructure projects, with the opportunity to work within a collaborative team and contribute to projects that are helping shape the future of the UK''s energy network.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll be responsible for supporting the commercial management of major Energy & Transmission projects, working closely with project teams and key stakeholders to ensure successful commercial delivery.

The role offers exposure to NEC contracts and provides an opportunity to further develop your experience within a technically and commercially demanding infrastructure environment.

We''re keen to speak with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors who have a strong commercial background and are looking to apply their expertise within the Energy & Transmission sector.

Candidates from a range of construction backgrounds will be considered. Whether your experience has been gained within commercial, residential, industrial, civil engineering or other construction environments, your existing commercial skills can provide a strong foundation for this opportunity.

Experience with NEC contracts is highly desirable, alongside a strong understanding of commercial management and project controls.

We''re particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

• Strong Quantity Surveying and commercial experience
• Experience managing commercial aspects of construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A solid understanding of cost control, budgeting and financial management
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to build effective relationships with project teams and key stakeholders
• NEC contract experience would be highly advantageous
• A proactive approach to commercial management and project delivery

The role is based within Central Scotland, providing good access to the wider Scottish infrastructure market.

Hybrid working is available, with a relatively flexible approach to working arrangements. This provides experienced commercial professionals with the opportunity to balance project requirements with flexibility around their working week.
