Senior Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting is working with a leading consultancy to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Helsinki, working on major data centre infrastructure and enabling projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to play a key role on complex, high-value projects within one of Europe's fastest-growing data centre markets.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial and cost management expertise across the full project lifecycle, working closely with clients, contractors, consultants and project teams.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading quantity surveying and commercial management activities across major data centre projects.
• Managing project costs, budgets, valuations, variations and change control.
• Preparing cost plans, estimates and commercial reports.
• Supporting procurement and tendering activities.
• Managing contracts and commercial risk.
• Monitoring project performance and providing clear commercial advice to clients.
• Working closely with project managers, engineers and other consultants.
• Supporting junior members of the commercial team where required.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong commercial background and ideally experience working on data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, major construction or enabling works.

You will ideally have:

• Significant Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy or contractor environment.
• Experience managing complex, high-value construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong cost management, procurement and contract administration skills.
• Excellent commercial and client-facing abilities.
• Relevant Quantity Surveying / Commercial qualification.
• The ability to work effectively within an international project environment.
• Existing right to work in Europe – sponsorship is not available.

Salary: €100,000 – €120,000
