Senior Quantity Surveyor Energy and Infrastructure The Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing business delivering major infrastructure projects across the UK''s expanding energy and utilities sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused Quantity Surveyor to work on a varied portfolio of projects across the energy transition, including electricity transmission and distribution, renewable energy, EV infrastructure, battery storage, solar and wider civil engineering programmes. Working closely with the Commercial Manager and wider project delivery team, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from tender and procurement through to completion and final account. The role would suit a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing business, with strong exposure to major infrastructure projects and opportunities for continued career development. Key Responsibilities Take responsibility for the commercial performance of projects and frameworks. Prepare pricing schedules and support tender submissions. Produce accurate cost forecasts, valuations and commercial reports. Monitor project performance against budgets, forecasts and agreed commercial targets. Manage contracts, variations, compensation events and change control. Prepare, submit and negotiate applications, claims and final accounts.
