Senior Quantity Surveyor

Cobalt are working with a growing real estate developer is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of residential-led projects across London.This is a well-funded and expanding development platform delivering projects across residential and hospitality sectors. The business offers strong exposure to live schemes and a collaborative, delivery-focused culture.The roleYou will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects from procurement through to final account.Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans and financial forecasts. Support tendering, procurement and subcontractor negotiation. Administer contracts including JCT and NEC forms. Manage valuations, payment applications and final accounts. Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Produce financial reports and cost analysis for stakeholders. Assess and manage cost implications of design or construction changes. Skills and experienceWorking knowledge of quantity surveying within construction or development. Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes. Commercial awareness with strong analytical and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities. Relevant degree or professional accreditation (e.g. MRICS) is advantageous.
