Your new companyYou will be joining an industry-leading Tier 1 contractor renowned for delivering major and complex infrastructure projects across the UK. As part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Birmingham. This is a dynamic role offering exposure to the major HS2 project where your commercial acumen will directly impact project success.This is a full-time permanent position based out of their Birmingham office with hybrid and flexible working.Your new roleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for key work packages on the HS2 project, supporting the delivery of complex civil engineering and infrastructure works. You will work closely with project teams, supply chain partners and senior stakeholders to manage cost, risk and value across the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities will include:Full commercial management of major civils work packagesCost planning, forecasting and financial reportingAdministration of NEC contracts, including change control and compensation eventsProcurement and management of subcontractor packagesAssessment and agreement of valuations and final accountsRisk and opportunity management to protect project marginsSupporting and mentoring junior commercial team membersWorking ..... full job details .....
