Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Join a dynamic Commercial team in Exeter as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, with hybrid working options available. This role offers the chance to take on key accounts and manage financial control for exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:
andbull; Quantity surveying duties in respect of managing projects and work packages
andbull; Liaise with design, construction and supply chain teams to capture, analyse and control cost
andbull; Collaborative work with the client to ensure business requirements are met
andbull; Manage the main contract ensuring contractual notices and correspondence are identified and raised as necessary
andbull; Preparation and issue of subcontract documentation
andbull; Assist in the management and performance of subcontractors
andbull; Manage the preparation and agreement of applications for payment
andbull; The preparation of project cost andamp; value reports, budgets and forecasts.
andbull; Assist in the management and development of junior commercial staff
andbull; Ensure your own continuous professional development by participating in external networking/conferences/associations/groups, to stay current on industry changes and innovations.
andbull; Maintain a positive and solution oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
andbull; Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
andbull; In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the department and company as well as maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.

Requirements:
Essential:
andbull; Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
andbull; MRICS or currently studying for APC.
andbull; Experience with a main contractor in utilities, civil engineering or MEICA sector
andbull; Knowledge of NEC contracts.
Desirable:
andbull; Experience in the Water sector.
andbull; Experience of managing and developing an individual or small team.
