Senior Quantity Surveyor

Rate: £450-£550 per day (Umbrella PAYE) Location: Cornwall Working Pattern: 45 hours per week Length of Contract: Until June 2027 Start: ASAPAre you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with NEC and Power/Substation experience looking for your next contract opportunity within the Transmission and Distribution sector?We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major energy infrastructure contractor, supporting the commercial delivery of a National Grid substation project. You will work closely with the project and commercial teams, taking responsibility for the day-to-day commercial management of the works. This will include NEC contract administration, cost control, CVRs, forecasting, compensation events, subcontractor management and commercial reporting. Previous substation or power sector experience is essential for this requirement, alongside strong practical knowledge of NEC contracts.Job Role Managing the commercial aspects of the project through to final accountAdministering NEC contracts, including Early Warnings and Compensation EventsPreparing and managing payment applicationsProducing CVRs, forecasts and commercial reportsManaging project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunitiesManaging subcontractor procurement and commercial administrationManaging variations and agreeing associated costsWorking closely with Project Managers, Engineers and the wider delivery teamLiaising with the client and other key project stakeholdersSupporting ..... full job details .....
