Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor required for Highways scheme based in to the South of Birmingham, on a freelance basis Outside IR35.Job RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a central role in managing the commercial aspects of a highways scheme currently in progress. With the project at a stage where compensation events are a major focus, your experience will be essential in ensuring accurate assessment, negotiation, and agreement of these changes.Key responsibilities include: Managing and assessing compensation events in line with contract requirements Overseeing cost control, forecasting, and reporting Supporting the commercial management of the project lifecycle Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and processes Contributing to the successful financial delivery of the schemeThis is a hybrid role, with 4 days on-site/in the office and 1 day working from home.
