Rate: £61 per hour Umbrella Location: CO10 (Suffolk) Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office IR35: Inside IR35 Length of Contract: Until 4 April 2027 Start: ASAP Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for your next contract opportunity within a major infrastructure environment?We are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a major infrastructure contractor based from their project office in Assington, Suffolk. You will be responsible for the commercial management of works, helping to control project costs, maximise value and ensure the required commercial and contractual standards are maintained. The position will involve working closely with the wider project team and managing commercial activities from procurement through to final account. Job Role Managing and monitoring subcontractor commercial activitiesPreparing activity and resource schedulesReviewing contract programmes and supporting delay and disruption assessmentsAnalysing commercial progress and reporting to senior project staffPreparing procurement programmes and supporting procurement strategyManaging rates, prices, variations and compensation eventsPreparing, submitting and negotiating claims where requiredProducing internal commercial reports and financial reconciliationsSupporting the management and development of junior commercial staffWorking closely with the wider project and delivery teams Requirements Strong previous experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor / ..... full job details .....
