Location - Salford

Salary/Package - -60,000 - -75,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Our client is a leading nationwide fa-ade contractor specialising in fa-ade remediation and large-scale new-build projects across the UK. Delivering complete building envelope solutions, they work on complex residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, providing expertise in cladding, brick slips, external wall insulation (EWI), rendering, steel framing systems, glazing, and curtain walling.

Working as both a Principal Contractor and Specialist Subcontractor, the business has established an excellent reputation for delivering technically challenging fa-ade schemes in line with the latest building safety regulations. With a strong pipeline of remediation and new-build projects, continued growth has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

• Managing the commercial delivery of multiple fa-ade and building envelope projects from contract award through to final account

• Preparing and managing CVRs, cost forecasts, and commercial reports

• Procuring subcontractors and managing subcontract accounts

• Preparing and agreeing interim valuations, applications for payment, variations, and final accounts

• Monitoring project costs and identifying opportunities to maximise profitability

• Managing commercial risk and ensuring contractual compliance

• Working closely with Project Managers and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully

• Supporting the Commercial Manager with strategic commercial decisions

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors

• Ensuring all commercial procedures are followed throughout the project lifecycle

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry

• Experience within fa-ades, cladding, remediation, external wall insulation (EWI), rendering, or the building envelope sector would be highly advantageous

• Alternatively, strong commercial experience with a Main Contractor delivering major construction projects will also be considered

• Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts

• Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills

• Experience producing CVRs, forecasts, valuations, and final accounts

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Competitive basic salary of -60,000 - -75,000
