Quantity Surveyor - GroundworksLocation - DerbySalary/Package - 65,000 + Excellent Benefits PackageFreelance Rate - 400 - 450 per dayAbout the CompanyOur client is an established civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality work and achieving reliable results across the UK.The business works on a range of prestigious commercial projects and has built its reputation around technical expertise, dependable project delivery and a highly skilled workforce.Due to a new project in Derby, they are looking to appoint an experienced Groundworks Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the post-contract commercial management of a major groundworks package.The RoleThe successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the post-contract commercial management of a 3.5m warehouse groundworks package in Derby.This is a site-based commercial role requiring someone with a strong background in groundworks and civil engineering, who is confident managing the commercial aspects of a project from contract award through to final account.The role offers a flexible working arrangement of 3 days on site and 2 days working from home.Both permanent and freelance candidates will be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesTake responsibility for the post-contract commercial management of the 3.5m groundworks packageManaging project costs, budgets and forecastsPreparing and reviewing CVRs and financial reportsManaging subcontractor accounts and ..... full job details .....
