Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major power and energy infrastructure projects across North Wales.This is a key commercial role within a high-profile programme of works, offering the opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value infrastructure packages within a critical UK energy sector.The OpportunityAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a leading role in the commercial management of energy transmission, substation, and associated infrastructure projects, operating under NEC contracts (primarily NEC Option C).You will be responsible for driving strong commercial performance across your projects, ensuring robust cost control, effective change management, and full contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on site in North Wales, with flexibility for the remainder of the week.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the commercial management of power and energy infrastructure projectsAdminister and manage contracts under NEC (Option C preferred)Manage the full lifecycle of Compensation Events, from notification through to agreementMaintain accurate control and reporting of Defined Cost and target cost performanceProduce detailed cost forecasts, budgets, and financial reportsOversee subcontractor procurement, valuation, and account managementSupport and implement effective change control and risk management processesProvide clear, ..... full job details .....
