Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working with a leading UK maintenance and refurbishment contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Slough.The business delivers a range of social housing maintenance, refurbishment, planned works and improvement programmes, working closely with housing associations and public sector clients across the UK.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take on a senior commercial position within an established and growing organisation, with responsibility for managing the commercial performance of projects while supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.The RoleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of social housing contracts from tender through to final account.You will work closely with operational, client and supply chain teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully, commercially and in line with contractual requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full commercial lifecycle of social housing contracts, from tender through to final account.Take ownership of project budgets, forecasts, cost control and cashflow.Prepare and submit valuations, variations and contractual claims.Administer contracts including JCT, NEC and other relevant forms.Produce accurate commercial reports and financial information for senior management and clients.Manage and negotiate with clients, subcontractors and ..... full job details .....
