Senior Quantity Surveyor Permanent Truro£55,000- £68,000 doe We have an exciting opportunity for a experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who ideally will come from a Civils/Groundworks background, to join a very successful sub contractor based in Mid Cornwall. Our reputable client works with a number of housing developers and contractors across the region, and with many long-standing relationships. They have an excellent project pipeline and the role comes with a very competitive salary as well as room for progression amongst other fantastic company benefits. My client has a market-leading presence in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.Duties will include:Review contract documentation and drawing issues to ensure all parties hold the correct informationProduce a monthly application for payment to the client in line with the client s calculation scheduleProduce valuation matrixes and daywork schedulesVerify accurate payments for sub-contractorsBe aware of all costs relating to project spendManage cost changes as a result of new drawingsLiaise with the client to evaluate daywork before an order is raisedEnsure all works are carried out in line with detailed procedures to achieve ISO/SMAS/CHAS/Achillies certificationRequirements:Extensive experience within the construction industryPreferably from a groundworks or civil engineering backgroundIdeally degree-qualified (or similar)If you are looking for a new opportunity and this one is appealing please do get in touch and contact (url ..... full job details .....
