Senior Quantity Surveyor – Permanent – TruroWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who ideally will come from a Civils/Groundworks background, to join a very successful sub contractor based in Mid Cornwall. Our reputable client works with a number of housing developers and contractors across the region, and with many long-standing relationships. They have an excellent project pipeline and the role comes with a very competitive salary as well as room for progression amongst other fantastic company benefits. My client has a market-leading presence in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.Duties / Responsibilities

Review contract documentation and drawing issues to ensure all parties hold the correct information.Produce a monthly application for payment to the client in line with the client''s calculation schedule.Produce valuation matrices and daywork schedules.Verify accurate payments for sub-contractors.Be aware of all costs relating to project spend.Manage cost changes as a result of new drawings.Liaise with the client to evaluate daywork before an order is raised.Ensure all works are carried out in line with detailed procedures to achieve ISO/SMAS/CHAS/Achilles certification.Requirements

Extensive experience within the construction industry.Preferably from a groundworks or civil engineering background.Ideally degree-qualified (or similar).How to apply
