Senior Quantity Surveyor

The OpportunityAn excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, an established and growing main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across London and the South East.The role will be based from the Waterloo office, alongside regular travel to project sites, and will see you taking commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account.Our client delivers projects across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and specialist cladding remediation, working on both new build and refurbishment schemes.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a senior position, or an established Senior QS looking to join a growing contractor where they can have a genuine influence on the commercial delivery of projects.The RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of the commercial management of projects, working closely with the Commercial Director, project teams, clients and supply chain.Responsibilities will include:Full commercial management of construction projects from procurement through to final accountPreparing and managing project budgets, forecasts and cost reportsProcurement and commercial management of subcontractor packagesPreparing tender documentation and analysing subcontractor quotationsManaging subcontractor valuations, payments and final accountsPreparing and submitting ..... full job details .....
