A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Manchester office. This is a key role within a well-established cost management team, supporting the delivery of complex residential schemes, with a particular focus on high-risk buildings.The Senior Quantity SurveyorThe successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for full pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services and act as a trusted advisor to clients on a range of technical, commercial, and contractual matters. This Senior Quantity Surveyor position offers clear scope for leadership and involvement in team development, with progression opportunities for the right individual.Responsibilities:Deliver full cost consultancy services including cost planning, tendering, and post-contract administrationSupport clients through procurement strategies and risk profilingManage budgets, variations, valuations, and final accountsProvide contract advice and lead administration duties under various forms of contractLead client, design, and contractor teams to ensure successful project deliverySupport the development and mentoring of junior staffRequirements:Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (BSc essential)Minimum 7 years'' experience in a similar Quantity Surveying roleProven experience in both pre- and post-contract deliveryHigh-risk residential project experience preferredStrong understanding of procurement and risk managementClient-facing ..... full job details .....
