Job Title: Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Wisbech/Cottenham Start Date: ASAPSalary: £68,000 - £70,000 per annum Company and Project:Our client, a well-known family run social housing contractor is currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis due to company expansion. Duties and Responsibilities of a Senior Quantity Surveyor: To undertake all Quantity Surveying duties on your contracts.To direct and control all financial and legal aspects of your construction contract ensuring that it is profitable.To be aware of the company''s business plan and its aimsTo establish, maintain, and enhance effective working relationships with the client and all members of the client s team.Prepare any loss and expense claims arising out of the extension of time claims.Ensure all subcontractors are on our approved listWorking with the contract team to manage the design on a design and build contract with a view of ensuring that changes are made for the financial benefit of the company.Working with the team to ensure that the request for information schedule Includes and financial or legal elementsTo establish a procurement strategy, with a procurement schedule in line with the time requirements of the operational and design deliverables for the project.
