Senior Quantity SurveyorMidlands (covering two sites) (phone number removed) + PackageAn established and growing contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team, working across two power generation projects roughly 90 minutes apart, spanning the West Midlands and the South East Midlands. A Midlands base is ideal to allow a manageable commute between both locations.The RoleWorking closely with site and engineering teams, you will be responsible for the commercial management of power generation projects delivered under NEC contracts.Key responsibilities will include:Commercial management of power generation projects under NEC contractsHandling compensation events and early warningsManaging variation accountsProducing cost reports and forecastsReviewing and agreeing valuationsSupporting site teams with commercial guidancePreparing and negotiating final accountsBuilding strong relationships with client and stakeholder teamsRequirementsPrevious experience as a Quantity Surveyor within power generation or a related sectorEssential: demonstrable NEC experience, including compensation events, early warnings and variation accountsComfortable splitting time across two live sitesStrong understanding of industry standards, regulations and best practice in commercial managementFull UK Driving Licence essentialPackage 60,000 - 70,000 DOE 6,000 car allowanceCompany pension schemeHealthcare coverCycle to work schemeEnhanced family leaveDeath in ..... full job details .....
