Senior Quantity Surveyor - HeathrowWe''re working with a highly regarded specialist contractor looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team on a major project at Heathrow.This is an excellent opportunity to take a senior commercial role within an established, employee-owned construction business delivering technically complex structural, engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK.The RoleAs Senior Quantity Surveyor, you''ll take responsibility for the commercial management of a significant project/package, working closely with the project, operational and commercial teams to drive strong commercial performance from delivery through to final account.Your responsibilities will include:Taking ownership of the commercial management of the project/packageManaging project costs, budgets, forecasting and overall commercial performanceLeading valuations, variations and applications for paymentManaging subcontractor procurement, accounts, payments and commercial performancePreparing and reviewing CVRs, forecasts and cost reportsIdentifying, mitigating and maximising commercial risks and opportunitiesManaging contractual matters, claims, variations and changeWorking closely with operational teams to monitor progress and project performanceLeading commercial negotiations with clients and subcontractorsSupporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial teamDriving successful final account agreementsBuilding strong relationships with ..... full job details .....
