Senior Quantity Surveyor

We''re working with a highly regarded, employee-owned specialist contractor looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.The business delivers major, technically complex construction and infrastructure projects across the UK, including structural engineering, transport infrastructure, structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and projects within highly regulated and constrained environments.The roleYou''ll take a senior commercial role on a major project, working closely with the operational team, subcontractors and client to ensure strong commercial performance throughout delivery.Your responsibilities will include:Managing monthly CVRs, forecasts, valuations and commercial reportingMonitoring project costs, margins, commercial risks and opportunitiesLeading claims, variations and final account negotiationsManaging subcontract procurement, payments and commercial performanceProviding clear commercial and contractual advice to the project teamSupporting audits and ensuring robust commercial controls are maintainedWorking closely with operational teams to ensure commercial and project delivery remain alignedSupporting tendering and providing commercial input into bids where requiredManaging commercial issues and disputes professionally and commerciallySupporting and developing Assistant and Project Quantity SurveyorsWhat we''re looking forStrong Quantity Surveying experience within construction or specialist contractingExcellent commercial ..... full job details .....
