Due to a significant increase in secured workload, we''re supporting a leading civil engineering contractor with several key freelance appointments.

Summary

We''re recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established civil engineering contractor delivering capital works across the South West Water infrastructure framework.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused QS looking for long-term freelance work on a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects.

Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of multiple capital schemes.
• Cost forecasting, reporting and financial management.
• Procurement and management of subcontractors.
• NEC contract administration.
• Final account negotiation.
• Supporting operational teams to achieve commercial success.

Requirements

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within the water or civil engineering sectors.
• Strong NEC contract knowledge.
• Excellent commercial, contractual and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
