A globally recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Quality department with the appointment of a Senior Quality Technician. Working from their manufacturing facility in the Midlands, the Senior Quality Technician will be responsible for: Ensuring the Plant meets Customer Expectations at each stage of the process, carrying out Audits as required. Investigate any quality issues to identify root cause and raise appropriate corrective action paperwork and ensure issues are addressed and resolved. Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality Conduct process and product audits. Raise DMN s / SQTS for supplier issues, track containment and track costs Manage quarantine area. Manage Laboratory (Basic Test Procedure all documented) Use Scanning Camera to clarify Part dimensions Principle Accountabilities Managing Plant Audit Schedules, arranging meetings to feedback and support non-conformance resolution.
