Senior Quality Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality across complex, safety-critical defence and maritime projects. This is a senior management role, responsible for managing a team of engineers, inspectors, and technicians, and ensuring the delivery of safe, reliable, and compliant systems.Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards.Drive a culture of quality, compliance, and operational excellence across both engineering and manufacturing teams.Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and programme management to ensure projects meet all regulatory and performance requirements.Apply hands-on manufacturing experience to support production and process improvement initiatives.Act as a confident, autonomous leader, capable of influencing and standing tall with senior executives, including VP and Director-level stakeholders.Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team while managing supplier quality and conducting audits.Benefits
