Position : Senior Quality InspectorLocation : Basildon, Romford, Brentwood, EssexSector : Precision engineering, CNC machined componentsSalary : 38,000 - 45,000 depending on experienceHybrid : No, the role is site based 5 days per week 8 am to 4 pmAbout the role :A hands-on Senior Quality Inspector / Team Leader role where the responsibilities includeManaging the workloads of the inspection department consisting of 4 Quality InspectorsSupporting the team with any issuesProviding training, development and mentorship to the team on how to inspect parts, how to review documentation, how to use metrology tools to ensure accurate inspectionEnsuring that all inspection activities comply with company, customer and legal requirementsIdentification of NCRs, and assisting with root cause investigations to improve quality and efficiencyCommunicate with internal and external stakeholders on quality issues to find solutionsAct as escalation for any major issuesManage, review and action non-conformities and supplier returnsIdentify and lead continuous improvement activities to improve quality processesPerform inspection on incoming and outgoing partsMaintain all required documentationCreate, manage and review FAIRsAbout You :Proven experience of working in quality inspection is essentialExperience of working in highly regulated industries and to stringent standards is essential - ISO9001, TH16949, ISO13485, AS9100Team leader, mentoring and people development skillsDetail focusedISO ..... full job details .....
