Senior Quality Inspector

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a leading precision engineering manufacturer with the recruitment of a Quality Manager. Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow. The successful candidate will take a key role within the quality function, supporting inspection activities across high-tolerance CNC machined components for sectors including aerospace, defence, electronics, medical and general engineering. Salary £40,000 - £60,000, depending on experience Key Responsibilities Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspection of precision CNC machined components. Operate and programme CMM equipment, alongside conventional measuring instruments. Interpret complex engineering drawings, GDandT and tight dimensional tolerances. Produce First Article Inspection Reports and support customer inspection visits. Raise, investigate and resolve Non-Conformance Reports and support CAPA activity. Lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why or Ishikawa methodologies. Manage calibration requirements and ensure measuring equipment remains compliant. Review material certifications, certificates of conformity and traceability documentation. Support internal and external ISO 9001 audits. Contribute to quality planning, continuous improvement and process development. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior inspection team members.
