T2M Resourcing are currently working alongside an innovative manufacturing business who supply products to a variety of industries to help them to recruit a Senior Quality Inspector.
As a Senior Quality Inspector you will be responsible for ensuring that all the goods supplied to the business are up to and in line with the standards of quality set.
Key Responsibilities as a Quality Inspector
- Inspection of components using a variety of measurement equipment and techniques such as using Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers, CMMs and laser scanners.
- Check all goods inwards deliveries, are appropriately packaged with the relevant inspection records/certificates of conformity where specified.
- Completion of Non-conformance reports / documents where parts don’t meet standards or specifications.
- Management and maintenance of equipment condition and calibration.
- Carry out supplier audits to ensure ongoing quality management.
Requirements to be a successful Quality Inspector
- Experience within a similar quality/inspection role.
- Experience of measuring parts and components using manual inspection equipment such as; verniers, Calipers, Micrometer, Johannsson, Pin and Digital height gauges, Etc.
- Operation and or Programming experience of CMM (PcDmis) - desirable not essential.
- Understanding of and ability to analyse metrology.
- Fantastic communication skills with a great attention for detail.
- Parts / stock management experience using an ERP / MRP system essential.
This role will be based from the company’s headquarters in Milton Keynes and will provide a fantastic opportunity to the successful applicant to grow alongside an exciting and innovative manufacturing business.
They have budgeted a salary of up to £55,000 for the role depending on experience, and the package would also include a Private Medical plan, a good holiday allowance growing with service and an Electrical Vehicle Sacrifice Scheme following the successful completion of your probationary period.
