Senior Quality EngineerNorthamptonshire£60k per annum The client is looking at its biggest ever year in 2027 and we''re looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a specialist engineering and manufacturing business, taking ownership of quality activities within a fast paced manufacturing environment.The role could lead into a management position, progression is definitely on offer here.This is a hands-on role where you''ll mentor a team of Quality Engineers, drive continuous improvement and work closely with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure products and processes meet the highest quality standards. The RoleLead and develop the Quality Engineering duties/teamOversee quality planning for prototype projects, including CMM programming, inspection strategies and gauging.Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.Support NPI and APQP activities, ensuring quality requirements are met throughout the process.Lead 8D problem-solving activities and resolve customer quality concerns.Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant quality standards. About YouExperience in a fast paced manufacturing quality role within precision engineering.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015; AS9100 experience would be advantageous.Knowledge of CMM programming, inspection processes and problem-solving techniques.Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. ..... full job details .....
