Senior Quality Engineer Contract Contract Length: Initial 6 Months Start Date: ASAP An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to support a major UK nuclear programme entering its final delivery phase.We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who can quickly integrate into an established project team and take ownership of critical quality assurance and documentation activities associated with the manufacture and delivery of equipment into the UK nuclear sector. Key ResponsibilitiesReview and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)Review LTQRs (Lifetime Quality Record)Review Manufacturing Record Books and Quality DossiersEnsure documentation packages are complete and compliant prior to dispatchReview supplier quality documentation and certificationReview supplier ITPs and inspection recordsSupport Supplier NCR meetingsSupport Internal NCR investigations and reviewsParticipate in client quality meetings where requiredSupport final quality release and acceptance activities Essential ExperiencePrevious experience within the nuclear industryStrong Quality Engineering backgroundExperience reviewing ITPs, LTQRs and manufacturing record packsUnderstanding of material certification and inspection requirementsKnowledge of NCR management processesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong document review and quality assurance experience Desirable ExperiencePrevious AWE project experienceSellafield or other highly regulated nuclear ..... full job details .....
