Senior Quality EngineerNr Wolverhampton£45,000 - £55,000 per annumOur client is recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to fully support the Quality Manager in maintaining company quality expectations through compliance to company policies, system procedures, work instructions and specifications. Driving improvements, the Senior Quality Engineer will ensure the timely completion of 8D investigations and be the first point of contact for any quality escalations.Senior Quality Engineer Key Responsibilities:Ensure the timely completion of 8Ds including the implementation of corrective actionsComplete Gemba walks around site to support continuous improvementSupport the upkeep of the Business Management SystemBe the first point of escalation for serious quality issuesBe proficient in Quality standards and methodologies such as 8D''s, PFMEA, PPAP, APQPTo carry out Internal and Supplier audits as required within the organisationSupport Customer and Third-Party AuditsSupport all internal departments with quality related mattersBe fully conversant in reading engineering drawingsRead and understand customer specifications/POs in order to support completion contract reviewsAssist in maintaining and adhering to the organisations accredited systems such as AS9100, ISO9001 and all customer requirementsTo perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility The Ideal Senior Quality Engineer Skills and Experience:Previous ..... full job details .....
