Senior Quality Engineer

Role: Senior Quality Engineer (Injection Moulding)
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum + Overtime & Bonus (OTE £40,000-£45,000)
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am–1:00pm (39 hours/week)
Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support quality assurance across departments
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external/customer audits
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage documentation and compliance with ISO standards
• Oversee product verification, reporting, and customer returns
• Support production checks and despatch quality processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in a senior quality role within manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949 standards
• Skilled in quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and Six Sigma
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Auditor training and experience with automotive quality systems (desirable)
• Experience in rubber/plastic injection moulding is a plus
