Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview: We are currently supporting a leading infrastructure contractor with the recruitment of a Senior Quality Advisor / Quality Manager for a major energy project in North Scotland. The successful candidate will take a senior role within the project quality function, helping establish and maintain robust quality systems across delivery and working closely with Project, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning teams to ensure the project is delivered in accordance with contractual, regulatory and client requirements. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Quality professional with a background in gas, energy, process, industrial or major infrastructure projects, particularly those delivered within live operational or highly regulated environments. The role offers significant responsibility across quality assurance, compliance, audits, inspection, subcontractor management and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Lead and promote a strong Right First Time quality culture across the project. Take ownership of the implementation and ongoing management of the Project Quality Plan, procedures and quality assurance arrangements. Provide senior quality guidance to Project, Engineering, Construction and Commissioning teams. Develop, review and monitor ITPs, inspection regimes, quality documentation and project records.
