Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Aerospace

We’re working with a well-established aerospace manufacturer and supplier who are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen their team. This role offers the chance to take ownership of the QA function, lead compliance activities, and embed a culture of continuous improvement within an AS9100-certified environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA function, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and customer requirements.

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and documentation.

• Conduct internal/external audits, root cause analysis, and drive corrective/preventive actions.

• Act as the key contact for customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies on quality matters.

• Mentor and support QA team members to build capability and best practice.

• Analyse quality data, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.

• Support new product introduction and process validation activities.

Requirements:

• Proven background in a senior QA role within an aerospace environment.

• Strong working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and related aerospace standards.

• Experience in auditing, problem solving, and data analysis.

• Confident communicator with leadership skills and stakeholder management experience.

• AS9100 Lead Auditor certification (preferred).
