You will lead the commercial delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring robust cost control, strong supplier performance, and effective programme-level governance.

Working as a key commercial partner to senior stakeholders, you will provide strategic oversight across multiple concurrent projects, driving value and continuous improvement.

Our client are a well known UK retailer looking to add a Senior QS to their commercial property team to oversee a huge CAPEX investment rollout project.

Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Analysts
• Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and commercial governance across programmes
• Ensure strong cost control, value for money, and risk management on all projects
• Manage procurement strategy, supplier performance, and commercial compliance
• Own programme-level reporting, providing insight to senior stakeholders
• Partner with Project Managers, Construction teams, Finance, and supply chain leaders
• Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes and frameworks

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

• A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost management within the facilities management sector.
• A strong understanding of procurement processes and contract administration.
• Proficiency in financial reporting and project cost forecasting.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
