SENIOR QS ROLE AT ELMCROFT CONSTRUCTION LTD: Role Overview Supporting the business to improve profitability through cost reduction and project efficiency. Protecting the business through contract scrutiny and administration. Working with the various departments within the business to minimise risk and exposure to the business throughout the project lifecycle. Be accountable for commercial performance of projects and work with project managers to ensure variations and valuations are agreed and administered correctly. Always striving to strike the right balance between client relationships and protecting the interests of the company. Typical Hours Your normal hours of work are 40 per week. You may be required to work additional hours to those stated above from time to time to ensure that workload and deadlines committed to are met fully. Key Responsibilities and Tasks: Acting as the qualified Commercial lead. Responsible for the overall financial performance of all projects. Keep a close eye on the finances of each project, work with the project teams on all contractual matters and ensure that the financial position is controlled effectively. Working closely with the Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the contract specification. Working closely with the Project Managers to ensure client satisfaction and optimisation of resources. Identify, notify and price all variations immediately upon change event.
