Senior QC TechnicianLocation: Basingstoke, UKContract Duration: 9 Months (Temporary, Full-Time)Pay Rate: 14.14 per hourWorking Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon-Thu: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Fri: 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM)Workplace Style: OnsiteAn opportunity has arisen for two Senior Quality Control Technicians to join an established team in Basingstoke. You will play a vital role in executing microbiological quality control testing to ensure life-enhancing products consistently meet required safety and performance standard specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform microbiological QC testing in line with specified test methods and laboratory SOPs.Conduct dehydrated culture media and supplementary reagent testing, as well as media preparation.Safely operate laboratory equipment, including autoclaves, and carry out routine equipment checks, audits, cleaning, and waste management.Record accurate test results within SAP Quality Management modules and track product progress to provide updates to planning teams.Identify and alert Team Leaders of any testing anomalies or failures, assisting with root-cause investigations as needed.Active involvement in daily tier board meetings, KPI reporting, and team safety/compliance standards.Key Requirements and QualificationsEducation: Level 6 qualification (Degree/equivalent) in Microbiology or a related scientific field, or equivalent experience (applicants currently studying towards Level 6 will also be considered).Laboratory Experience: Hands-on ..... full job details .....
