Senior QA Engineer

About the role The Senior QA Engineer is a key member of the Technology team, responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and scalability of a modern, microservices based platform used across the financial services sector. This role has a strong focus on test automation and quality engineering, playing a pivotal part in shaping test strategy, improving test coverage and accelerating delivery across the software development lifecycle. Working within a cross functional Agile delivery squad, you will collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners and DevOps to embed quality early and ensure solutions are robust, release ready and aligned to business goals. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of automated test frameworks Build and maintain automated test suites covering API, integration and UI scenarios Contribute to and support CI/CD pipelines, enabling fast, reliable and repeatable deployments Define and execute test strategies aligned to Agile delivery and modern engineering practices Partner closely with Engineering and DevOps teams to improve test effectiveness and coverage Analyse, log and clearly communicate defects, risks and test outcomes to stakeholders Perform targeted manual testing for complex, exploratory or high risk scenarios as required Use SQL to validate data, support end to end testing ..... full job details .....
